We are Downtown Lowell, MA first dog daycare, grooming and DIY wash.  We have been opened since 2014.  We are a cage free dog daycare and take all breeds.  We offer a small group playtime and frequent walks around the downtown area.  Our groomers are able to do all styles, cuts and breeds. The DIY wash allows you the owner to give your dog a bath using our equipment and we do all the clean up

Grooming Policies

SENIOR PETS

We love our senior pets! But as our furry friends age, grooming can become more taxing, tiring and uncomfortable. If that time comes, the groomer may discuss with you a comfort groom. Comfort grooms keep the scissoring, the longest, tiring part of grooming, to a minimum. Haircuts will be neat and maintain your pet at a shorter length. This will allow for less drying time, less time standing on the table and more time in between groomings. While the trim will look complete, they may not look like they did as a puppy, this type of groom is more about function/ comfort and less about style. Our groomers love to style pets but above all we want to make your pet comfortable.

Grumpy Pets

We all have our days when we would just like to sleep in and not be bothered. Pets are the same. There are many reasons why a pet may be uncooperative for groomers: lack of training, matting hurts, pain or illness in their body, new to grooming, fear- based responses. Sometimes we can figure out a reason (s) sometimes we cannot. In these cases, we do as much as we can. A pet pushed past it’s limits will just make it harder to groom the next visit. In the event we have to send your pet home incomplete, we will discuss what options you have available. We employ the use of trach-savers that keep your pet on the table via their shoulders and not their neck. We also can offer treats like peanut butter and whipped cream if your pet is treat motivated. We do use muzzles when it is safe for both the pet and the groomer, we use muzzles on when there is an area that requires a muzzle.

No-Show/ Last minute cancellations

Please be aware the groomers work one on one with pets, so a no- show affects our business much more than other shops who over-book allowing dogs to stay for hours. We are enforcing a No- Show Fee and Last Minute Cancellation Fee.

Failure to give 48 hours notice for any grooming appointment (includes baths) will result in a fee added on to your account as follows:

  • 1st offense- $25.00 charge

  • 2nd offense- $30.00 charge

  • 3rd offense - 100% of booked service cost & 100% non refundable deposit for future grooms and no premium days/ holiday bookings
