GROOMING
The Social Pup offers professional grooming as well as the daycare.
Dog Grooming:
Dog grooming is very breed specific, we offer bathing and haircuts based on your dog’s breed and need.
All groomings begin with a bath. The bath will include a pet specific shampoo, blueberry facial scrub, blow out, brush and combing, ear cleaning, nail trim and grinding, a finish spray and bandana. Depending on your pup’s breed, they may require some hair trimming.
Haircuts will include a bath.
We cannot perform a haircut on dirty hair or hair not washed by the groomer. This ensures our groomers will be able to give an even trim for your pup and our equipment will not be damaged .
Shampoos:
We have many shampoos to help with your pet's skin and coat, including ones for enhancing coat color, reducing shedding, getting rid of skunk odor, soothing sensitive skin, and providing a mud bath. We also offer an Argan Oil Shampoo. Our current seasonal favorites are Cranberry Champagne, Vanilla Spice Latte, and Apple Pie.)
Pricing Effective January 2024:
Pricing is based on the your pup’s breed, size, temperament and hair coat condition. We will quote pricing based on a pup’s coat being in good condition, on a regular grooming schedule, a normal size for the breed and a decent temperament for grooming.
Good Condition coat- means pups that are free from matting (knots or clumps of hair) and are maintained on a 4-8 weeks schedule depending on their breed and coat length
We offer other pricing for pup’s that need special care such as pups that are far out from a normal grooming schedule (matted/ packed pups) senior pups (comfort grooming), spicy pups that may need extra special handling and dogs that require trim work that would not normal be performed on that breed (Double Coat Shave downs). These pups we can give a better quote in person.
